Mannes Opera: L’enfant et les sortilèges & Mermaid in a Jar
Mannes Opera presents a concert double billing of Maurice Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges and Rachel J. Peters’ Mermaid in a Jar. These two operas are both fantastical stories told through the eyes of a child. Colin will appear in L’enfant as The Cat, and will sing in the chorus of the show.

Taconic Opera: Ariadne auf Naxos
Ariadne auf Naxos follows a classical composer and a comedy troupe who are both booked to perform for the wealthy Viennese elite. Trouble ensues when they are informed that they have to perform simultaneously. After this prologue, we see the composer’s opera, based on the myth of Ariadne being abandoned by Theseus, but with the comedy troupe working themselves in.
Colin will be playing the Major-Domo, the representative of the aristocrats hiring these artists, as well as covering the role of Harlekin, one of the comedians.
